Warner Music Central Europe announces the launch of Warner Records Germany in Berlin, headed by director Lea Londa.

On Tuesday, Warner Music Central Europe announced the official launch of Warner Records Germany, establishing a frontline label powered by one of the music industry’s global majors. Operating out of Berlin, the label highlights the major’s intent to bridge the gap between its U.S. heritage and the cultural heart of the German market.

To lead the label, Lea Londa has been appointed Director of Warner Records Germany, reporting to Jean-Sebastien Permal, SVP of A&R for Central Europe and EMEA. As a 16-year industry executive, Londa has spent over a decade at Warner Music Central Europe, rising through the ranks from Media Manager to Marketing Director. She has spearheaded high-impact promotional campaigns across genres, working with global superstars like Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Enya, and Linkin Park.

Londa also has a strong track record with domestic talent. She orchestrated the campaign behind Udio Lindenberg and Apache 207’s “Komet,” which is the longest-running #1 German single in history. She has further served as an integral part of the support system behind the breakthrough of Provinz, one of Germany’s most influential bands for years; ran campaigns that led to multiple gold and platinum records for Robin Schulz; and developed breakthrough talent MilleniumKid.

The label’s curated roster already reflects her philosophy of long-term artist development and cultural relevance. Warner Records Germany champions a diverse, high-impact lineup including Udo Lindenberg, Provinz, emerging artist Yasola, and versatile talent LINA. Together, these artists exemplify the label’s commitment to providing both enduring superstars and next-gen talent with a permanent home.

“Warner Records has always been a label built around iconic, visionary artists. Launching Warner Records Germany reinforces our global commitment to championing creative talent, empowering the German team to discover, nurture, and elevate the next generation of artists both in Germany and on the world stage,” Aaron Bay-Schuck, CEO & Co-Chairman, Warner Records, and Tom Corson, COO & Co-Chairman, Warner Records and COO, WMG, said in a joint statement.

“Bringing the iconic legacy of Warner Records to Germany is a pivotal moment, and I am grateful to both Niels and Seb for their trust in my vision to lead this new chapter,” adds Lea Londa, Director of Warner Records Germany. “I am excited to shape this future with the artists I have worked closely with for years, and to welcome new talent into a true musical home. Together with the team, we will build a creative culture that makes Warner Records Germany a successful force in the market.”

“Launching Warner Records Germany is a defining step in our growth, and Lea was the clear choice to lead it,” shares Jean-Sebastien Permal, SVP of A&R, Warner Music Central Europe and EMEA. “She has spent her career earning the trust of artists, and she brings a sharp point of view about what a modern frontline label should give them. Under her leadership from Berlin, Warner Records Germany will become a genuine home for artists at every stage of their careers.”

Niels Walboomers, President, Warner Music Central Europe, concludes, “Bringing the legendary Warner Records brand to Germany underscores our commitment to the region. We are building an elite, modern label model that puts artists first and drives domestic culture forward. I’m thrilled to support Lea and Seb as they lead this charge from the heart of Berlin.”
