As the ASU men’s golf team gets set for another season, they will have a new trick in their golf bags.
On Tuesday, it was announced the team had partnered with True Spec Golf. Sun Devil men’s golf has access to all of True Spec’s custom club fitting services, and True Spec will also contribute a “substantial” amount to the team’s NIL.
Each golf will also receive tune-ups to their clubs throughout the year.
“We are so grateful to True Spec Golf for stepping up like this and supporting our program, both with their world-class club fittings and with their incredibly generous NIL contribution,” said ASU men’s golf coach said in a release. “We’re an elite program with a long history, but the competition increases every year, so having a local business like True Spec make this kind of investment in our team is invaluable, both for the current crop of players and for the recruitment of future players.”
“Scottsdale is our home and we heard the call to provide support from Sun Devil Nation,” Ture Spec Golf president Scott Anderson said in a statement. “We’re a Valley business through and through, and it gives us a tremendous amount of pride to invest our resources into the ASU golf program and in essence become an extension of their team.”
The Sun Devils’ season kicks off on September 12.
