Jake Plummer hosted the Snake Pit Poker Challenge at Papago Golf Club to benefit The Care Fund on Thursday.

The Care Fund was funded by long-time ASU supporter Bill Rogers and provides financial support for families where their child has suffered a medical emergency. Through mortgage support, the parents can be more present during the child’s medical stay.

Some of Jake’s former ASU and Cardinal teammates were in attendance and multiple organizations provided support and prizes, including an F-150 from Tim Hovik’s San Tan Ford.

Organizers said they hope this event is just the beginning, and the event – and the impact it makes – can continue to grow in the future.
