For the first time since 2005, Maryvale has hosted and won a postseason match up.
The Panthers blanked ALA West Foothills, 35-0.
Mark and Marcus Carter took over the program last year after being in “exile,” following their exit at Desert Edge after the 2023 season.
Under their direction, the Panthers are back to back region champs and finished 9-1 in the regular season this year.

Next stop: round two of the 4A playoffs in Prescott against No. 4 Bradshaw Mountain.
