Deezer (Euronext: DEEZR) has reported nearly 2% revenue growth for Q3 2026, when its total subscribers and international revenue slipped due to a partnerships-side contraction.

The Paris-headquartered DSP disclosed its third-quarter showing today, pointing first to €133.8 million (currently $148.9 million) in across-the-board revenue, up 1.8% from the same stretch in 2025.

Therein, direct revenue came in at $104.7 million/€94.1 million (up 7% year over year), with $37.2 million/€33.4 million attributable to partnership subscriptions (down 6.2% YoY) and the remaining $7.1 million/€6.4 million having derived from different sources (down 19.5% YoY).

“This revenue growth reflected a larger average subscriber base, driven by the success of Family offers in France and strong subscriber acquisition earlier in the year, together with recent improvements in retention, in RoW,” the service summed up.

Unsurprisingly, Deezer’s quarter-end subscription stats reflect the revenue trends: Of Q3’s 8.7 million total subscribers (down 3.2% YoY), 5.8 million (up 5.7% YoY) fell into the direct category, against 2.9 million (down 17.1% YoY) for partnerships.

(A 2023 tie-up with Latin American e-commerce giant Mercado Libre, which was affording its Meli+ customers in Brazil and Mexico access to Deezer Premium, has been winding down for a while now.)

Nevertheless, the platform, which upgraded its HiFi audio quality earlier in October and will soon add an on/off toggle for AI uploads, boasted 3.9 million direct subscribers in France (up 6.5% YoY) and 1.9 million (up 4% YoY) in all other markets as of Q3’s end, per the breakdown.

Finally, regarding Deezer’s third-quarter performance, revenue in France hit $94.3 million/€84.7 million (up 3.8% YoY), compared to a 1.4% YoY decrease outside the European nation to $54.6 million/€49.1 million.

And direct-subscriber ARPU was essentially flat at $6.01/€5.40 per month, with $4.12/€3.70 per month for partnerships; execs attributed the latter’s 16.7% YoY improvement to “a more favourable mix of offers.”

Looking ahead to the remainder of 2026 and beyond, Deezer upped its forecast “and now expects revenue to grow slightly compared with FY25.”

Meanwhile, the business, which is set to roll out SACEM Play by early 2027, is also banking on improved adjusted EBITDA of $11.1 million/€10 million for 2026.

“We delivered revenue growth for a second consecutive quarter, supported by the continued expansion of our Direct business,” CEO Alexis Lanternier said in part. “We are focused on building lasting connections between artists and fans, giving listeners more reasons to choose Deezer and stay with us.

“Through Deezer for Business, we are putting our technology to work for partners such as SACEM, Europe’s largest authors’ society, and Winamp, whose desktop player is still actively used by more than 40 million users worldwide,” the exec continued.
