KNICKS CONTINUE STUNNING TURNAROUND AS STAR DUO DOMINATES

The defending champions have continued their impressive turnaround after a nightmare start to the season, winning five of their past six games following three straight losses to open their campaign.

Coming up against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the New York Knicks once again turned to their star duo of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, who both delivered monster performances.

Towns finished with 29 points, 13 rebounds and three assists, whilst Brunson added 31 points, nine assists and six rebounds in another impressive display.

After a tight opening quarter, the Knicks took control in the second, building a 10-point lead heading into halftime that proved too much for the Cavaliers to overcome.

Cleveland entered the contest coming off a strong victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, but were unable to back it up against a Knicks side that has found its form in recent games.

Donovan Mitchell was one of the few bright spots for the Cavaliers, finishing with 37 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals.

The victory sees the Knicks climb to fifth in the Eastern Conference after their slow start, whilst the Cavaliers fall to 5-5 on the season and drop to seventh in the standings.
