Larry Fitzgerald handled his Hall of Fame induction speech much like his playing days. For him, a celebration was simply handing the ball back to the referee after crossing the goal line. His words from the stage in Canton, Ohio were really no different. Heartfelt, without saying “look at me”. He expected it; we all expected it. Still, I loved how his fifteen-minute speech was short, sweet, and to the point. He handed the football to his son Devin, who has grown up before our eyes at Brophy Prep and now at Notre Dame. Hold off on the statue talk; there are more big moments in store for Fitz IMO…
