Today on Sky Sports Racing: Doncaster, Southwell and Uttoxeter | Racing News

We have a busy day’s racing on Saturday with action from Doncaster, Southwell and Uttoxeter, live on Sky Sports Racing…

3.25 Doncaster – Last year’s winner Castle Cove faces Nobody Knows

A typically competitive Virgin Bet November Handicap sees last year’s winner Castle Cove and ante-post favourite Nobody Knows headline a field of 23.

William Haggas’ Castle Cove has not been seen since landing this pot under Jason Hart last season and rates a fascinating runner under new pilot Cieren Fallon. Up eight pounds from last year’s ready success, he must be considered if fit enough on this return.

Nobody Knows has been at the head of the betting for this contest since Monday and Richard Hughes has booked the services of Ryan Moore. The three-year-old caught the eye when staying on to finish fifth at York last month and is expected to step forward again over this extra yardage.

Stablemates Circus Of Rome and Duraji have each-way claims on the best of their form, while Alfred Wincham is another to note. He won by an eased down eight lengths at York on his last outing and must defy a 13-pound higher mark.

2.10 Doncaster – Coul Angel and Montassib contest Listed cavalry charge

Coul Angel and Montassib feature among a field of 21 sprinters for this Listed Virgin Bet Every Saturday Money Back Wentworth Stakes.

Coul Angel arrives on a hat-trick having scored in handicap company at the Curragh and York the last twice. He is now five pounds higher as he heads into Listed company for the first time.

Montassib has not been successful since winning the Haydock Sprint Cup in 2024 but has not been disgraced this season and was fifth in this race last year.

Others to note include Ed Walker pair Sunday Girl and Midnight Tango, while Irish-raider Unique Journey likes soft ground and has Ryan Moore in the saddle.

2.45 Doncaster – I’m The One and Felicitas headline Gillies Fillies field

I’m The One and Felicitas headline a deep edition of this Listed Virgin Bet Daily Price Boosts Irish EBF Gillies Fillies’ Stakes at 2.45pm.

The Ed Walker-trained Felicitas scored on her first two starts before finishing runner-up in the Musidora at York. She has not been beaten far in hot races since and looks an obvious contender down in grade.

I’m The One, one-time Oaks favourite, returned from a break with a narrow second at Southwell and she will be expected to take a big step forward as she reverts to the turf under Sean Levey.

Revoir is worth a mention after her excellent second in Group Three company in Italy, while Ribbon Of Sea has first-time cheekpieces.
