Hailing from Los Angeles with roots spanning the United States and West Africa, visionary artist Carter Ace is shattering sonic boundaries with his signature genre-agnostic alchemy. Raised by an artistic family—with a painter father and a dancer mother—he cut his teeth playing underground gigs and all-age venues across the San Fernando Valley alongside his powerhouse live band. Building on millions of independent streams and major critical backing, “TIPTOE” showcases his effortless ability to fuse otherworldly R&B, hard-hitting hip-hop, neo-soul drip, and space funk into an intoxicating groove.

Built on a foundation of lush keyboard chords, infectious basslines, and razor-sharp guitar work from his tight-knit backing band, the track drags alternative soul straight into an expansive, futuristic dimension. Studio sessions soaked in rich analogue textures and effortless vocal delivery give the song a hypnotic, bouncing momentum. It tackles the delicate art of moving through life with stealth and style, flipping everyday swagger into an effortless display of artistic freedom.

What makes the release stick is how it weaponizes a buttery-smooth rhythm section to deliver pure, unadulterated euphoria without losing an ounce of gritty underground edge. It proves that modern R&B can be deeply adventurous and irresistibly danceable all at once. Carter Ace is carving out an untouchable lane where boundless genre-bending meets airtight musicianship, making effortless cool sound like the best night out of your life.
