Hot off the heels of her debut album, Addison Rae comes to Fortnite’s Icon Series on August 6, bringing looks from her new video and sold-out tour.
Epic Games has revealed a release date for Addison Rae’s debut in Fortnite, featuring two Addison Rae Fortnite skins dropping on Thursday, August 6. She’s bringing looks from her hit music video for “Fame is a Gun” and from her debut, sold-out global headline tour into the Fortnite Shop.
The goodies include the aptly named The Addison Rae Outfit from her “Fame is a Gun” music video, featuring a pink jacket, top, and skirt with a sunglass toggle. Her Famous Addison Rae Outfit, inspired by her stage looks, is a music-reactive skin that comes in White, Fame Brite (pink and yellow), and Soda Black.
Fans can also hit the stage or celebrate a Victory Royale with Addison Rae’s Diet Pepsi and Fame is a Gun Jam Tracks and Emotes. Finally, there’s the Turtle-on-Moon Back Bling, Addison’s Sundae Back Bling, the two-handed Fame Scepter Pickaxe, and the reactive Addison’s Biggest Fan Pickaxe, in three selectable colors.
“I used to play Fortnite quite a lot, I got introduced to it in high school,” said the 25-year-old TikTok star turned pop star. “I also have little brothers that love it—this will be a big flex card.”
“I’m not much of a gamer anymore. I’m trying to be outside,” she added. “But maybe now I have to dip back into it. It seems like a crime not to play as yourself!”
The Addison Rae bundle will arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET on August 6. While Epic Games hasn’t yet confirmed the bundle price of the Addison Rae collaboration, the individual prices have been estimated online to match previous Icon Series rollouts. The skins themselves will probably cost about 1,500 V-Bucks each, while the rest of the goodies will cost between 400 and 800 V-Bucks.
“Over the last few years, it’s become quite the big deal to get yourself into Fortnite,” Rae said. “I’ve been a huge fan of everything that they’ve done with a lot of other women in pop music. It’s really exciting that they asked me.”
Rae is the latest pop star to drop in on the battle royale gaming sensation. She joins the likes of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Chappell Roan, and many more.
