Audio Chateau Records’ founder Jared Gutstadt announces securing up to $9 million in Series A financing and welcomes strategic advisor Poo Bear.

Audio Chateau Records (ACR), the music and creator company founded by longtime media and entertainment entrepreneur and Jingle Punks founder Jared Gutstadt, has secured up to $9 million in Series A financing. The financing will support ACR’s next phase of growth as it brings together music, original content, and commercial partnerships with sports, brands, live entertainment, and media to help artists build lasting careers and businesses.

Artists today do more than release records, between building audiences, creating content, launching brands, and pursuing other business ventures. ACR is building a model designed around making these pursuits part of artist development from the start, instead of treating them as opportunities that come later in their careers. By combining the creative resources of a record label with the commercial capabilities of an agency and content studio, the company recognizes that artists are multifaceted creators and aims to help established and emerging talent grow their careers, brands, and businesses.

“I’ve seen the shift to creator culture firsthand, and I believe the next generation of successful artists will be the ones who build something bigger than their music,” said Gutstadt. “That’s what we’re building at Audio Chateau. We want to give artists the creative resources, relationships, and opportunities to turn their talent into lasting businesses. This investment allows us to bring more talent into that model, strengthen what we’re building, and create new avenues for how artists are discovered and developed.”

As part of its next chapter, ACR is also welcoming Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd as a strategic advisor. Known for his work with Justin Bieber on hits including “What Do You Mean?,” “Despacito (Remix),” and “I’m the One,” Boyd brings decades of experience to the label.

Boyd and Gutstadt previously collaborated on the original musical podcast Bear and a Banjo, featuring a soundtrack produced by T Bone Burnett and original lyrics by Bob Dylan. The series received two Webby Award nominations in 2020 for Best Writing and Best Original Music/Sound Design.

“I’ve built a career working with some of the biggest hitmakers in music, and I fully believe Jingle Jared approaches the music business differently. He’s not thinking about competing on the charts. He’s thinking about brand positioning and standing out in this very noisy marketplace. Together we can craft hits and create some noise for creators of the future. I’m excited to be part of this next leg of the journey,” said Boyd.

Sports and entertainment partnerships are a key part of ACR’s artist development strategy, drawing on Gutstadt’s track record as the founder of JIngle Punks, a production-music company with deep roots in television, sports, and entertainment. His previous collaborations include work with Lil Wayne for Fox Sports, DJ Khaled with the Miami Marlins, and G-Eazy with the UFC.

ACR is building on those relationships to put developing creators in front of entertainment audiences through placements and original content. Recent projects involving Clayton Johnson, Miles Victor, and Ricky Retro have paired together music releases with distribution, content, and commercial opportunities.

ACR’s creative facilities function as creator studios, supporting recording, original content, and collaborative production under one roof. The Audio Chateau in Los Angeles houses three studios and has hosted artists like MGK, Ty Dolla $ign, and Miranda Lambert. The company has additional production and event capabilities in the Nashville area.

Investors in the round include Jonathan Schulman, Ben Lurie, and Julie Gauthier of CW Ventures.
