The Phoenix Mercury faced the New York Liberty on August 1 wearing their new original jerseys, which was just the start of commemorating their 1997 team that started it all.

 

The court featured 30 years of Mercury players as well as the old Mercury and WNBA logos.

 

First ever head coach and general manager in Cheryl Miller wore her suspenders and tie – one of the many famous looks she rocked on the sidelines.

Jeff Metcalfe and Eliav Gabay caught up with Bridget Pettis and reflected on a memorable night in Phoenix.
