While Disney’s big D23 showcase did tease some footage from the live-action take on Rapunzel tale ‘Tangled’ (and had Mother Gothel actor Kathryn Hahn on stage), the presentation didn’t feature every new actor.
The studio has announced that Caitríona Balfe (‘Outlander’) is aboard as Queen Arianna, who is Rapunzel’s mother in the film.
She’s not the only new recruit: Elliot Cowan (‘The Crown’) will be King Frederic, while comedians Patrick and Hugo McPherson are playing the Stabbington twins
