Here’s what to know about the Dodgers-Braves odds:
Divisional Series: The Dodgers’ bid at a three-peat got off to a great start, as they won Game 1 at home against the Braves, 5-3. The game wasn’t as close as the score indicates, considering Atlanta hit a 2-run homer in the top of the ninth. Tarik Skubal, in his first postseason start in L.A., was dominant, allowing one run and two hits in six innings. Kyle Tucker also got off to a much-needed hot start, blasting a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth.
Playoff History: The Dodgers and Braves have met four times in the postseason since 2013. Los Angeles won the 2013 and 2018 NLDS, both 3-1, then rallied from a 3-1 deficit to win the 2020 NLCS in seven games en route to a World Series title. Atlanta got its revenge in the 2021 NLCS, winning 4-2 on its way to a championship of its own. The Braves beat the NL East rival Phillies in Game 3 of the wild-card series to advance to the NLDS.
Game 2 of this series is Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on FS1.
