Hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Sheela are a rising grunge-punk band formed in 2023 after meeting at the city’s renowned Oh Yeah Music Centre. Drawing inspiration from Hole, PJ Harvey, Le Tigre, and Veruca Salt, the trio have quickly established themselves through blistering live performances, uncompromising songwriting, and a raw blend of grunge, punk, and riot grrrl energy.
