TikTok announces a partnership with All Things Go Music Festival tied to its Music on Stage competition, offering creators major performance slots.
On Tuesday, All Things Go Music Festival and TikTok Live announced a new partnership tied to TikTok’s global live music competition, Music on Stage. The partnership will provide music creators on the platform an opportunity to amplify their sound and connect with new audiences from one of the fastest-growing music festivals, from September 25 to 27 in New York.
The competition will culminate in the U.S. grand prize winner performing a set at All Things Go NYC, alongside some of music’s biggest artists, including Zara Larsson, Lola Young, MUNA, Carly Rae Jepsen, Brandi Carlile, Sienna Spiro, The Beaches, and more. The collaboration offers music creators a pivotal launchpad and a rare opportunity to share their original artistry with a global community in person.
Submissions for TikTok’s Music on Stage are open now. Artists will compete live on TikTok throughout August for a spot in the regional finals, which will take place live on Friday, August 28, and feature Lizzy Plapinger, performing artist of LPX, and MS MR fame, co-founder of Neon Gold Records and All Things Go advisor, as a guest judge.
“Creating opportunities for new voices has always been fundamental to All Things Go, making this collaboration with TikTok a natural fit. Discovering and supporting emerging artists has been a throughline of my career, and I’m excited to help spotlight an artist for the chance to perform on the festival’s New York stage,” said Lizzy Plapinger.
“On TikTok Live, emerging artists are building real communities and connecting with global audiences in real time, turning everyday moments into the foundation of a career,” said Shen Gao, Head of Live Operations, Americas, at TikTok. “Through Music on Stage, our partnership with All Things Go Music Festival gives creators the chance to share the stage alongside some of the biggest names in music, elevating their artistic journeys and giving them a platform to showcase their talent on one of music’s fastest-growing festivals.”
According to a previous announcement from TikTok, other festivals will be included in the coming weeks. This includes Breakaway Carolina Festival, the submissions for which ended on August 9.
