On the opening night of the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, a number of Irish athletes will be in action in the Alexandra Stadium.

Nick Griggs – Men’s 5000m – Final – 8.40pm
Brian Fay – Men’s 5000m – Final – 8.40pm

Abbie Sheridan – Women’s 3000m Steeplechase – Round One Heat 2– 9.13pm
