Australia cruised to a record-breaking 124-6 victory on Sunday afternoon, but the highlight came 11 minutes from full-time when Paige Travis pounced on a Tayla Preston grubber to score.
Top teams have struggled to do that lately, but the Welsh proved it could be done against a team that missed just one tackle.
It was the one highlight for the minnows who became the latest side to cop it from the most dominant team on the planet, with the Channel 7 commentary team labelling it ‘a massacre’.

THE 100 CLUB
The Aussie men could only manage 111 against South Africa as they capitulated in the cricket on Saturday night.
It took 68 minutes for the Jillaroos to outscore them after they burst out of the blocks to lead 60-0 at the break.
Bookmakers set the line at 99.5 points, but that was never in doubt as the Jillaroos showed yet again why they are the favourites to defend their World Cup crown.
Jaime Chapman scored six tries, Jess Sergis crossed for four and Keilee Joseph bagged a double off the bench as Australia exposed the massive gulf in class between them and the rest of the world.
Some of the numbers on Sunday were truly mind-boggling with Sergis and Chapman (241 metres apiece) running for more metres than the entire Wales team (215).
Chapman had a first-half hat-trick, with her fifth try and subsequent conversion pushing the Jillaroos past the cricket total.
Tarryn Aiken had four try assists and made just two tackles, while the hosts outran their opponents by a staggering 1608 metres as they registered 23 line-breaks to none.
GOLDEN BOOT
Jesse Southwell celebrated her return to the starting side with a sublime performance at five-eighth.
The young gun scored a try, set up six tries and had an incredible day with the boot as she landed 20 from 21, including several from touch.
She wasn’t the only one to have a field day with Sergis and Chapman both dazzling with their speed, while Tamika Upton finally broke her World Cup drought with a late double.
