Riley Bice, who is no longer a person of interest for police, is understood to be facing potential legal proceedings along with former Swans star Taylor Adams.

Carbone Lawyers, who are representing two of the women involved, have sent legal letters to the club and the five players, which also includes Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner and Nick Blakey, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

However, James Jordon, who was suspended by the Swans following the incident, has not been sent a letter.

A draft statement of claim has been sent to all parties, which will outline the reasons why the defendants are being sued.

The club itself is reportedly being considered liable for the players’ actions at the hotel because they are their employer.

It is believed the documents sent also include an invitation for discussions to begin towards resolving the matter out of court.

It has been claimed that two of the women involved in the incident are suffering severe trauma-related disorders.

Official medical reports prepared for the civil action detail the disorders, with the women receiving treatment.

“They have been pushed over the edge by the incident and its aftermath,” a source previously told the SMH.

The players involved maintain their innocence and no charges have been laid by police.

They are expected to return to action when the new season begins next year, with Blakey leaving the Swans to join North Melbourne last month.

The police investigation has reportedly been “expanded” in recent days to look into the activities of another individual.

The authorities are investigating the individual for secretly taping the alleged victims.

It is understood police have spoken to “a number of people” in relation to the recording — which was made in the days after the alleged incident took place at the Pullman Hotel in Melbourne.

The man reportedly got in touch with Swans officials following the night in question, before the club informed the AFL integrity unit.

The recording was then seized from a property in Melbourne after Victoria Police’s sexual crimes squad investigators obtained a warrant.

The alleged victims are reportedly “upset and angry” about the recording taking place without their knowledge.

It is not yet known what the nature of the allegation is against the man who made the recording.

Victoria Police has told news.com.au that “as the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment”.
